The ArtCircleResidence - Europe Connect is pleased to announce the appointment of the newest Artists to the program; The Swedish O’Nils, and Christiane Böning. The Swedish O’Nils are a trio of singers and musicians based in Sweden and will take up residencies in Germany and Croatia in the middle of 2022, along with visual artist Christiane Böning. Harvard Club Rhine Ruhr and ArtCircleResidence-Europe Connect will hold a Matinée concert with the renown Japan jazz pianist Yasuto Ohara. The event will combine information on high tech innovation and technology by TFC Käufer GmbH. More details to be released.
A new residence programme with music from 3 European countries will take place at the Residence of German Ambassador to Sweden Dr. Anna Prinz 26-30 June, 2021. German singer Barbara Tanze, viola musician Spela Pirnat from Slovenia and harpist Eduardo Raon Bomba Correia from Portugal will experiement with music from all 3 countries.
For this occasion the artists have formed the “no borders trio” to stress, that there are no borders in music. After the premiere in Sweden they are planning to perform in Portugal, Norway, Estonia, Slovenia and other EU countries.
This residency in Stockholm was made possible in cooperation with the Slovenian, Portuguese and German Embassy in Stockholm and”ArtCircleResidence-Europe Connect”, a sister organization of “ArtCircleResidence - Australia”.
Overview of Events
27 June – an open air concert, open to the public in a Corona restrictions respecting format, will take place in lovely Djurgarden, Stockholm, to celebrate the end of the Portuguese EU presidency.
28 June – the Slovenian, Portuguese and German ambassadors will jointly invite for a concert at the German Ambassadors residence to celebrate the beginning of the Slovenian EU Council presidency but also to stress the great cooperation between the trio EU council presidencies (Germany-Portugal-Slovenia) 2020-2021.
29 June – the newly founded German NGO “ArtCircleResidence-Europe Connect”, will invite Swedish musicians to the residence of the German Ambassador to connect the “no borders trio” with outstanding artists in Sweden for future cooperation. Unfortunately travel is still restricted but members from ArtCircleResidence in Europe and Australia will be invited to watch the event online and in a recorded version on youtube.
ArtCircleResidence warmly welcomes Andrea Wozny and Dan Tepfer as the newest recipients of the residency program. Both Artists held performances at the German Embassy in Sweden, hosted by the German Ambassador to Sweden, Dr Anna Prinz. The performances can be view on the Gallery Pages
Dan Tepfer gave a unique performance for Art Circle Residence initiated by the German Ambassador to Sweden, Dr Anna Prinz, via video link and live streamed on Youtube and Facebook. This unique performance enabled Dan to perform with the musician Robert Ikiz who was also performing remotely in another location in Stockholm.
This years events in Sweden held at Blaxsta winery in Flen and the Residence of the German Ambassador Dr. Anna Prinz, will be recorder and uploaded to the ACR website after the events for online viewing.
It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Michael McRoberts, owner of „Lerida“ winery in A.C.T. as the new president of ArtCircleResidence (ACR) Australia. He was elected unanimously at the annual ACR board meeting on 12.07.2020, together with the new Vice-President Natalie Trefz, head of „RUN Creative“ in Melbourne.
Dr. Prinz will stay connected as founder and honorary member or ArtCircleResidence Australia and will continue to support the Residency developing connections between the European and Australian artists and wineries.
Recognized by his original style and well-crafted technique, Japanese Jazz Pianist Yasuto Ohara is one of the finest mainstream players in the world. Yasuto will perform at Blaxsta Winery, Sweden, as part of the ArtCircleResidence in July 2020.
We are pleased to announce Blaxsta Winery in Sweden, as our newest supporter of ACR. Blaxsta will be providing their wonderful venue for the upcoming concert in Sweden in July 2020.
Blaxsta winery is a boutique vineyard in the middle of Sörmland, and it the worlds most northern vineyard. Among rune stones and Viking graves, Blaxsta produces well-known grape varieties such as Merlot, Chardonnay and Vidal Blanc.

Barbara Tanze gave a breathing coordination workshop at the Royal Music Academy in Stockholm on 30.09.2019 and helped to establish contacts to the music and art scene in Stockholm during a concert at the Swiss Embassy on 31.09. and at the German Embassy on 01.10.2019.

We are pleased to introduce Tsering Hannaford as the latest artist appointment for the 2019 Art Circle Residence. Tsering Hannaford is a realist painter based in Adelaide, South Australia.
A reception will be held at Government House, Adelaide, to Welcome Dr Anna Prinz, Ambassador, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, to introduce the Artists and Wineries partaking in the Art Circle Residence 2018.

We are pleased to announce Marjan Arman winery in Croatia, will host the painters of ArtCircleResidence in April next year, as well as a concert by Lior Grabowski at the end of April.
Wolf Blass, the German who inspired winemaking in Australia, is opening a new wine museum in Hahndorf. The museum is not only dedicated to wine making but also shows the first small German school in Hahndorf. The Petticoat Girls will perform there 30. September at 5.30 p.m. and the painters will work at “the Lane” winery in Handorf.
Battenberg, Germany
Lior and Paul Grabowski from Melbourne will perform in Battenberg Wine Estate on April 12th, 2019 followed by a concert at the Australian Embassy in Berlin (tbc).
Artists who participated in the 2018 events in Australia will work in Battenberg Castle between 7.-13. April 2019 and paint on barrel heads and canvas, ending with a vernissage on April 12th, 2019.
